Flexim: Release Y26-W5

From zero SEO knowledge to automated content strategy

If you're a solo developer juggling a day job with a side project, you probably know this feeling: you've built something useful, but nobody's finding it. You've heard "content marketing" and "SEO" thrown around, but between coding features and handling support, there's barely enough time to write a tweet — let alone a comprehensive SEO strategy.

This month's Flexim updates tackle exactly this problem. We shipped a complete Topic Suggestions feature that automates the entire journey from "I have a product" to "here are SEO-optimized article titles ready to rank."

What's new in January 2026

Topic suggestions: your AI-powered SEO research assistant

The headline feature this month is Topic Suggestions — an end-to-end system that discovers what your potential users are searching for and generates article titles optimized for those keywords.

Here's what it does for you:

  1. Analyzes your product — reads your website, understands what you're building, detects your language and target markets
  2. Creates audience segments — builds detailed profiles of who would actually use your product and what problems they're trying to solve
  3. Researches competitors — finds products targeting the same audience and extracts their ranking keywords
  4. Filters for relevance — keeps only keywords that match your audience's actual search intent
  5. Generates titles — creates SEO-optimized article titles and validates them against existing search results

The magic happens when you realize all of this runs automatically. You enter your URL, select your region, and the system handles the rest.

How title generation helps you

The system doesn't just slap keywords together. Each generated title:

  • Contains your target keyword exactly as people search for it
  • Includes related modifiers selected by search volume for better reach
  • Differs from existing results — checked against current SERP to avoid duplicates
  • Stays under 60 characters for optimal display in search results

If a title is too similar to something already ranking, the system automatically generates alternatives. No more writing an article only to discover the exact same title exists on page one.

Regional SEO support

Not everyone targets US markets. This month we added proper regional support:

  • Location selector with major search markets worldwide
  • Language detection from your website content
  • Localized keyword research based on your target market

If you're building for German users, your keyword research now happens against German search data, with German-language title generation.

Smarter keyword filtering

Raw keyword data from competitor research is noisy. The new filtering step evaluates each keyword against your specific audience:

  • How likely is your target user to actually search for this?
  • Does it match their problems and goals?
  • Is it relevant to your product positioning?

Only high-relevance keywords make it through to title generation. This isn't generic keyword research — it's keyword research filtered through your specific product and audience.

Keyword effectiveness scoring

Each topic gets scored to help you prioritize what to write first. Higher scores mean easier wins — topics with decent search volume but lower competition. Focus your limited writing time on topics where you can actually rank.

What this means for your content workflow

If you're currently spending 3 hours weekly on content, here's the difference:

Before: Manually researching keywords, guessing what topics might work, writing titles without knowing if they'll rank, discovering competitors already own that exact title.

After: Enter your URL once, let the system run, get a list of validated topics sorted by opportunity. Spend your 3 hours actually writing content instead of researching.

The SERP validation is particularly valuable. It prevents wasted writing time on topics where you'd be creating duplicate content.

Try it yourself

Topic Suggestions is available now. The trial includes free title generations to test with your own product.

The workflow:

  1. Enter your website URL
  2. Select your target region
  3. Wait for analysis (a few minutes for the full process)
  4. Review generated topics
  5. Export to AI assistants

No SEO knowledge required. The system handles keyword research, competitor analysis, and title optimization automatically.

Coming next

We're working on content brief generation — taking a validated title and producing a structured outline with target word count, required subtopics, and semantic keywords to include.

The goal: reducing time from "topic idea" to "published article" while maintaining quality that actually ranks.
